What I am thankful for today

What I am thankful for today.

That my chickens (collectively known as the Three Stooges) are healthy and thriving. Not sure of the littlest one (not part of the Three Stooges) will make it though. But the others are turning all of us into chicken lovers lol.

Spending time with my hubby.  Bassman makes me laugh and everything we have survived makes the good times even better. :)

When I make my children chuckle.  They are so cute when they giggle instead of whine.

That my kids get are able to have so many more opportunities than I, or my parents, had even with this darn recession.

That Bassman's sabbatical is only two months away.  Planning for it is going to be great fun!

Okay, I have to admit it - I'm a little covetous of your chickens. I've wanted a chicken coop for forever (my husband thinks I'm nuts), but they aren't allowed in the city limits. :(

Hope your little guy pulls through!

That's okay. My husband thinks I'm crazy too lol. His friends are convinced I'm off my rocker--homeschooling AND chickens--it's just too much for them lol. Have to admit that I am often glad we purposely chose to live in the unincorporated wedge between the two local cities. One neighborhood over and I wouldn't be able to have the little ladies. Yesterday they turned themselves into free range chickens lol. Good thing all the cats (we have 3) were inside for their naps!
