We recentlyread D'Aulaire's Columbus and I was able to show Ham where Columbus wasborn, where he sailed on his merchant trips, approx where he wasattacked by pirates, and just how far it was to sail to America.  Doingthe slow scan over the ocean really showed how far it is.... 

 

Youhave to download the software but then it's pretty easy to use.  Youcan type in a address and "fly" in from space.  Very cool.
