Tracey,

One thing I hadn't anticipated is just how much busier teens are than other kids. Between classes, volunteering and socializing my son is gone part of every day. Many of his friends are even busier. We've had to drop a lot of our reading and use The Teaching Company lectures instead just to save time.  And plan for plenty of test prep along with personality and career exploration during the later high school years.

I can sort of see how things are going to be really busy. Between volunteering , activities with sports and/or interests with art classes or other things really does seem to narrow down our time.  ! ~  My older teens were very busy during this time period in their lives as well ~ makes for very interesting and busy days! :)
