Jack really enjoyed that one, too!  Interestingly, it was written to be "educational" and I found the version we read was very helpful in sparking conversations about all kinds of things.  Jack said he especially enjoyed that the boys were able to do almost everything...and he was quite sure that Jack in the book was also six and looked a lot like him.  ;)

This book is on my short list.  I am looking forward to reading it with Ham.  It's good to know Jack enjoyed so I might read it a little sooner.  I do think he'll be asking for a treehouse tho. lol  Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has inspired him.  While opening a candy bar he wondered if there would be a golden ticket and yesterday he was trying to put his gum behind his ear.  LOL  So dreaming a treehouse would be a good thing.

Happy reading.
